DCTX App Update: What's New, What's Fixed and What's Coming
The latest DCTX app update brings back unlimited team follows for free users, plus bug fixes, TV viewing updates and a look at what's coming next.
Important Updates for DCTX App Users
We’ve made several updates to the DCTX app since last week based on your feedback, along with fixes to bugs we identified on the backend.
If you don’t have automatic app updates enabled on your device, you’ll need to manually update the app through the App Store or Google Play to see these changes.
Follow All Your Teams for Free
Free users can once again follow as many teams as they want. No subscription required.
How to Follow Your Teams:
Go to the Teams tab or tap Add a Team on the Home screen.
Search for a school or team, then tap the + to follow it. Add as many teams as you’d like.
A Heads Up on “Games Near Me”
The Games Near Me feature is temporarily unavailable while we make some improvements. We identified this feature as one of the factors that contributed to the app outage last week, so we’re taking the time to make sure it’s working properly before bringing it back.
This is only temporary. Games Near Me is coming back soon.
In the meantime, tap Scores at the bottom of the app and use the Class and District filters to find games in your area. Tap into any game to view or update the score or join the live chat.
How to Watch on Your TV
DCTX subscribers can watch in the app's Watch tab or at davecampbells.com/watch and cast to your TV.
Our new Roku app is nearly ready and going through final approval with Roku. We'll share the news as soon as it's live.
