2027 DL Charles Egbo (Iowa Colony) — The new DCTX three-star checks in at 6-foot-5, 275 pounds and brings legitimate two-way versatility at OL and DL. Egbo could realistically play on either side of the ball in college, but his length and explosiveness on defense are his calling cards. The Texas State commit recently added offers from TCU and Houston.
2028 ATH Jayshawn Mitchell (San Antonio Brennan) — The new DCTX four-star is a 5-foot-11, 200-pound athlete with verified elite speed, clocking a laser-timed 4.40 40-yard dash as the fastest man at The Opening regional in Dallas. Mitchell’s combination of size, speed and athleticism has helped him build a list of 35-plus offers, including Georgia, Michigan, Stanford, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Ohio State.
