A Door Slammed, Not Closed: What Texas Tech Learned from Oregon
Oregon slammed the door in the CFP, but Texas Tech proved it belongs. A historic Big 12 title and growing investment point to a future where the Red Raiders keep knocking.

“I do think we’ve set a standard that we’re going to try and live up to,” Joey McGuire said after the game. “No other Red Raider team before us was able to accomplish what we did this year. This (loss) will hurt for a long time, but we’re going to learn from it and we’re going to keep getting better.”
