Former Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman is transferring to Houston to finish his career playing for Willie Fritz and the Cougars, sources confirm to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. Weigman, who was a four-star Top 10 recruit in the 2022 class at DCTF, was benched halfway through the 2024 season.

Weigman threw for 819 yards and three touchdowns to five interceptions in six appearances for the Aggies in Year 1 of the Mike Elko era. He was replaced by Marcel Reed at halftime of the LSU win and never started again in College Station. Weigman was a two-sport star at Cypress Bridgeland High School.
