Arch Manning enters game against Georgia
Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian put quarterback Arch Manning into the game down 20-0 against the Georgia Bulldogs in relief of Quinn Ewers.

Earlier this week, a reporter asked Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian what he'd need to see to make an in-game switch at quarterback. Sarkisian didn't give an answer then, but he did on Saturday night.
Down 20-0 in late in the second quarter against Georgia, Sarkisian put redshirt freshman quarterback Arch Manning into the game in relief of Quinn Ewers. Ewers was 6-for-12 up to that point for 17 yards and one interception. He'd also suffered a sack fumble which gifted Georgia a possession in the red zone. The Longhorns offense had five total yards.
