Alvarado (4-0) at Glen Rose (3-1):
Unbeaten Alvarado entered the state rankings in 4A-Division I a couple of weeks ago and haven't done anything to dissuade the voters after a 55-42 win over Waco Connally. AHS was tied with the previously unbeaten Cadets 35-35 in the third quarter before it surged with three straight touchdowns to put the game away. QB Cardea Collier has been putting up monster numbers for three seasons and he continued his assault on every school record throwing for 315 yards and two scores and adding 156 yards on the ground and three touchdowns.
