TXHSFB Tales from the Road: Five Impressive Recruits from Week Three
Our week three TXHSFB prospect notebook includes ATH Davian Groce, Oregon commit Tradarian Ball and rising 2027 QB Jaxon Schad.
Groce a Modern-Era Offensive Weapon
2026 Frisco Lone Star ATH Davion Groce (6'1, 190) burst onto the scene as a running back in his freshman season, but he has developed into Lone Star's offensive jack of all trades. He scored on a touchdown run out of the backfield and caught two touchdown passes when split out wide. It's easy to see why programs like SMU, TCU, Texas A&M, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee have offered, and he is already listed on the DCTF five-star watchlist. - Greg Powers
