Report: Projected TCU starter Josh Hoover to miss spring with injury
TCU’s projected starting quarterback entering 2024, Josh Hoover, will miss spring practice due to an injury. Hoover started the final six games for the Horned Frogs last season.

The TCU Horned Frogs received unwanted news ahead of spring practice, which is set to start on March 23, with the news that projected starting quarterback Josh Hoover will miss spring practice due to an undisclosed injury. The news was first reported by Steven Johnson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. A school spokesman told the Star-Telegram that Hoover is expected to be fully cleared for summer workouts.
The news is a blow for a quarterback room already facing depth concerns. Hoover started the final six games of his redshirt freshman season for TCU last year, completing 62 percent of his passes for 2,206 yards with 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 298 attempts.
