Texas State adds Sun Belt Player of the Year quarterback for 2024 season
Texas State Bobcats add James Madison quarterback transfer Jordan McCloud for 2024 season after Jayden de Laura, T.J. Finley saga.
The quarterback carousel at Texas State stopped for the Bobcats when head coach G.J. Kinne’s program secured the commitment of James Madison quarterback Jordan McCloud.
McCloud led James Madison to an 11-1 record and a No. 24 ranking in the AP Poll last season. He spent two seasons at Arizona (2021, 2022) and two seasons at South Florida (2019, 2020).
