Texas high schools appealing their 2024 UIL district alignments include Lufkin, Angleton, Houston Spring Woods and Victoria West.
The University Interscholastic League's biennial realignment may have been released nearly three weeks ago, but the Texas high school football landscape is far from settled.
Seven schools have filed an appeal to change their Texas high school football districts, and will appear in front of the UIL District Assignment Appeals Committee on Tuesday. After the UIL released its biennial reclassification and realignment on February 1st, all schools were given the opportunity to appeal their district and conference assignments, and seven took them up on it.
