Corpus Christi Calallen Head Coach Steve Campbell Retires
Corpus Christi Calallen's head coaching job is truly open for the first time since 1984 after Steve Campbell announced his retirement.
After over 40 years of stability in the coaching ranks, it appears a shakeup is imminent at Corpus Christi Calallen as AD/HFC Steve Campbell is expected to announce his retirement on Tuesday afternoon.
Campbell has been a mainstay at Calallen where he served as legendary head coach Phil Danaher’s defensive coordinator from 1984-2021 before stepping in to lead the Wildcats in 2022 after Danaher’s retirement due to health reasons.
