Wolfforth Frenship (5-0) at Midland Legacy (4-1): District play kicks off with a bang in the Little Southwest Conference as the two district favorites clash in the Tall City. Both teams had a bye last week so each team will be healthy and rested for this showdown, which could have seeding implications if Midland Legacy winds up in the Division II bracket.
Frenship closed out their non-district slate two weeks ago with a dominant 35-0 win over New Mexico power Rio Rancho Cleveland. QB Hudson Hutcheson has led the Tigers offense all season and in the win over Cleveland he was outstanding with 322 yards passing and four touchdowns.
