Big Game Prediction: Longview (4-1, 2-0) at Forney (5-0, 2-0)

Longview (4-1, 2-0) at Forney (5-0, 2-0): After all of 7-5A Division I took the bye week off, the district title could be up for grabs in Forney Friday night as second ranked Longview visits No. 10 and unbeaten Forney in the biggest game at City Bank Stadium in several years.

Longview has rattled off four straight wins since dropping its season opener to McKinney and at times the Lobos have looked like the dominant state title contender many predicted they’d be. Their last outing against Lancaster was far from it as the Longview defense for the first time all year struggled in a 52-35 win. The positive for the Lobos was Oklahoma RB commit Taylor Tatum had his best game of the season thus far with 250 yards rushing and three touchdowns, along with a 25-yard touchdown reception.
