Bushland (5-1) at Muleshoe (6-0): One of the best games in the Panhandle/South Plains this week is a district opening showdown featuring the District 2-3A Division I preseason favorite Bushland taking on a Muleshoe squad that is undefeated and has entered the state rankings this week.
Bushland won a neutral site game last week by blasting past El Paso Riverside, 63-28. The Falcons were led by QB Dawson Jaco, who threw for 310 yards with five touchdowns and added three rushing TDs.
