DeSoto (1-0) at South Oak Cliff (1-1): It’s a Saturday night showdown at Dallas’ Kincaide Stadium where visiting DeSoto is actually closer to the stadium than homestanding South Oak Cliff (in an odd twist).
DeSoto had last week off after rolling past Allen, 39-7, in the season opener. This will be the Eagles’ first full game without the services of star junior RB Tiger Riden, who was injured in the Week 1 win. Sam Houston commit QB DJ Bailey will have more of the offense on his shoulders this week because of the injury, but he’s got capable playmakers on the outside in Daylon Singleton, TJ Pride and sensational freshman Boobie Feaster.
