Wolfforth Frenship (2-0) at Lubbock Monterey (2-0): It’s a surprising battle of unbeaten teams in the Hub City as Frenship, which is not a surprise as an unbeaten, takes on surging Lubbock Monterey.
Frenship survived a thriller on the road last week against Lubbock-Cooper, 35-34, and it was the Tigers defense that came up with the big play by stopping Lubbock Cooper on a two-point try in the game’s waning moments.
