Why I Write: Telling the right stories
A colleague suggested to college writer Carter Yates that he write a column about why he chose to work at Dave Campbell's Texas Football. It turned into a weekend of reflection and a goal to be better than he once was.
My desk is situated so I'm the first person someone sees in the Dave Campbell's Texas Football office when they walk in.
I'm probably not the best choice for that designation, considering I'm the newest editorial member and, therefore, the least likely to know the answer to a guest's presumed question. Thankfully, I usually just sign off on a mundane delivery order and bring it to the recipient.
