The Texas 47: Ranking all 47 college football programs in Lone Star State ahead of 2023 season
Ranking all 47 college football teams in the state of Texas for the 2023 college football season, including the Texas Longhorns, Texas Tech Red Raiders, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas A&M Aggies, Baylor Bears, Sam Houston Bearkats, UIW Cardinals and UMHB Crusaders.
We’re football dorks who love big, crazy ideas here at Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. We return the Texas 47 – a tiered ranking of each of the 47 college football programs in the Lone Star State – ahead of Week 1 of the 2023 campaign. From the Texas Longhorns to the Mary-Hardin Baylor Crusaders and all the way down to the JUCO level, we place each program in Texas into one of seven tiers.
Let the discussions (arguments?) begin. This list is the brainchild of Cory Hogue and Mike Craven.
