Bridgeland coach David Raffield to retire
Bridgeland High School head football coach David Raffield accumulated a 142-84 record over 19 seasons as a head coach at Bridgeland, A&M Consolidated and Cy Falls.
David Raffield, a mainstay in the Texas high school football coaching world in the Houston area and Brazos Valley, announced his retirement on Tuesday.
Raffield will step down as head coach at Bridgeland in the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, where he's spent the last six seasons building the program as the school's first and only head coach. Prior to his stop with the Bears, Raffield coached for six seasons at A&M Consolidated and seven seasons at Cy Falls, racking up a 142-84 record over his 19-year head coaching career.
