Breaking: Eric Morris set to add three former UIW assistants to roles at North Texas

North Texas and new head coach Eric Morris are set to host a press conference Wednesday afternoon and sources close to the program say that he’s added three assistants from Washington State – where Morris served as the offensive coordinator in 2021 – to the Mean Green staff.

Sean Brophy, who will likely work with quarterbacks, played quarterback at Incarnate Word for Morris, helping the Cardinals to a Southland Conference title in 2018. He was an assistant wide receivers and quarterbacks coach at UIW in 2021 and an offensive graduate assistant at Washington State last season.
