Texas Tech defensive back Reggie Pearson wins Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Texas Tech defensive back, Reggie Pearson, won Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Week setting a season-high five tackles while also recording an interception and recovering a fumble in overtime in the Red Raiders come-from-behind victory over the Longhorns. This was Texas Tech’s first victory over Texas in Lubbock since former Texas Tech receiver, Michael Crabtree, caught the famous game winning touchdown reception in 2008.

Texas Tech’s next game is this coming Saturday in Manhattan, Kansas, against Kansas State at 11:00am. The Wildcats are coming off their upset performance knocking off then top ten Oklahoma in Norman.
