UIW rolls past Southern Illinois in G.J. Kinne's he coaching debut
The UIW offense remains dominant under quarterback Lindsey Scott Jr. and is bolstered by wide receivers Taylor Grims, Darion Chafin, and Ce'Cori Tolds.

With an explosive offense led by a fantastic quarterback and an opportunistic defense spending a lot of time on the field, it feels like the same UIW we have come to love over the past four years. However, it’s not the same Cardinals - this is the G.J. Kinne era, and I don’t think he will complain about the similarities following a 50-22 victory over Southern Illinois.
The Cardinals took advantage of the Salukis early mistakes and took complete control of the contest in the second half to finish the dominating win. The SIU deep snapper is not wanting me to type his name after two of his snaps sailed over his punter’s head and resulted in a safety and a touchdown to help stake UIW to a 22-0 lead in the first quarter.
