UTSA head coach Jeff Traylor arrives in the hotel weight room every game day at 6 a.m. sharp. He’s greeted by treadmills, a few workout benches, some dumbbells, and his starting quarterback. Frank Harris outworks everybody, even his head coach. Harris knows he can’t take his success for granted because injuries humbled him early in his career.
“He’s the first one on the field and he prays every single time he goes out there,” Traylor said. “He’s the last player on the field, and he prays before he heads to the locker room. He truly doesn’t take one day for granted because he knows how fragile life as a football play can be.”
