WATCH: Sophomore athlete Mason Dossett shows off blazing speed on baseball diamond with diving catch
Ridge Point High School's Mason Dossett sprints from his centerfield position to make a diving catch against No.1-ranked Katy Tompkins High School in the Class 6A Regional Quarterfinals.

Mason Dossett is only a sophomore at Fort Bend Ridge Point, but he’s already earned the nickname “D1 DOSS”. That’s because he’ll potentially play at the highest collegiate level in three different sports.
The 6-foot-1-inch, 180-pound athlete competed for the Panthers throughout the entire academic calendar. He served as a running back and wide receiver for head coach Rick LaFavers’ 11–2 football team before winning an Area Championship as a 110m Hurdler. Now, he’s in the midst of a State Title run for Ridge Point’s baseball club.
