BREAKING: Allen finds its next head coach
Allen High School will hire Midlothian Heritage coach Lee Wiginton as its new head coach. He will replace Chad Morris who resigned his position in mid May.

For the second straight year, Allen ISD wasted very little time in their search for a head coach. On Monday, the district announced Midlothian Heritage's Lee Wiginton as the next head football coach for the Eagles.
Wiginton, a native of Lampasas and the son of a coach, is well-respected around the state, as evidenced by his election as president of the Texas High School Coaches Association in July. He will serve as the organization’s president in the 2022-2023 school year. In 2020, he was named the THSCA's Grant Teaff Beyond the Game Award winner.
