After a week off, Midland Legacy finally gets to open up district play against a surging Abilene High squad that’s rattled off three straight wins, including an impressive performance last week over Odessa Permian, 42-21.
In its last outing, Midland Legacy only got to the early second quarter before lightning ended things, but it was a dominant effort from the Rebels who led Arlington Bowie 29-0 before the bad weather rolled in. The game was ruled a no contest.
