It’s a massive matchup of Pirates on the Coastal Bend as the early lead in District 16-4A Division II is on the line when Sinton visits Rockport-Fulton. Both teams cruised in their district openers last week. Sinton blasted Corpus Christi West Oso 59-0 behind RB Rylan Galvan, who returned from an injury and accounted for 251 yards on the ground and five touchdowns and he also chipped in a 36-yard touchdown reception from his twin brother Rene Galvan.
Rockport-Fulton went south down to Raymondville and absolutely rolled, blowing past the Bearkats 48-6. R-F got three rushing scores from John Chupe in the first half and two scores on the ground from Devean Phillips in the second half to cruise to the easy win.
