It’s a great opening week in El Paso and one of the top games in the Sun City should have a lively atmosphere as Parkland heads to always rowdy Trooper Stadium to take on Eastwood in a battle of district title contenders.
Parkland was one-point away from making the third round of the playoffs a year ago in 5A-Division II and they’ve got some solid returning talent led by WR DeMarion Crest and RB Isiah Beasley. OL Tyrone McDuffie is a FBS recruit and one of the top players in the trenches in the Sun City.
