Two years ago, Arlington Martin went into Lake Travis and stunned the favored Cavaliers to send notice to the state that they were no longer just a “good DFW team,” but they have emerged as a real regional threat after taking eventual state finalist Southlake Carroll to the limit a year ago in the regional semifinals.
Martin’s got headliners on both sides of the ball with Stanford DE commit Ernest Cooper, IV and Texas commit LB Trevell Johnson leading the way. Junior ATH Javien Toviano is a national level recruit as well and will be asked to do a number of things on both sides of the ball as he’s one of the state’s more versatile players.
