Southlake Carroll vs Highland Park at AT&T Stadium:
It’s a Thursday night opener between two of the most high-profile teams in the state, but some of the talk will be around who won’t be at this game as Carroll’s five-star QB Quinn Ewers decided in late July to reclassify and enroll at Ohio State, leaving the Carroll offense in the hands of talented junior QB Kaden Anderson. He’s got plenty of playmakers to rely on with South Carolina commit WR Landon Samson, Boston College commit TE RJ Maryland and talented RB Owen Allen.
