East Austin will be fired up in the season opener on Thursday night as Manor heads to Nelson Field to take on 4A powerhouse LBJ.
Manor, after a run to the regional finals in 2019, stumbled a year ago with a young team, but the speedy Mustangs are a year older and appear ready for a postseason return. The Manor ground attack will be lethal with the return of Pittsburgh verbal commit Che Nwabuko and punishing runner Quinten Joyner.
