Llano’s first season as a 3A-Division I school went about as well as can be expected as the ‘Jackets advanced all the way to the state semifinals before falling to Hallettsville and their sensational two-way star Jonathon Brooks who is now at Texas. Matt Green’s squad is expected to win 13-3A Division I once again, but the battle for second should be tough with Lago Vista, fresh off a regional final appearance getting the edge over Blanco. Comfort, despite returning just three total starters is the pick for the final playoff spot over a Luling squad that should be improved.
