NCAA hands down decision on Baylor Title IX case
The NCAA ruled that Baylor's alleged Title IX failings under head coach Art Briles did not technically result in any broken rules due to the fact that the shortcomings were not specific to football.

The NCAA Division I Committee decided that it could not conclude that Baylor’s 2016 Title IX scandal violated NCAA rules in a report released on Wednesday.
However, the program was dinged for related recruiting violations that occurred between 2011 and 2016. Baylor will serve four years of probation and have limitations on recruiting over the next academic year. Additionally, some records could be vacated.
