No. 1 overall quarterback Quinn Ewers of Southlake Carroll could forego his final year of high school at enroll at Ohio State in August, per Yahoo Sports.
UPDATE (Aug. 2): Southlake Carroll quarterback Quinn Ewers is forgoing his senior season and enrolling early at Ohio State, according to a report from Inside Texas. He confirmed the news on Twitter.
"This is not just a financial decision; this is about what is best for my football career," Ewers wrote in the post. "At 18, and with one final class about to be completed to earn my high-school degree, I feel it's time to get the jump on my college career that is available to me."
