Sul Ross assistant coach Kevin Canty dies at 37
The Sul Ross Lobos' offensive coordinator Kevin Canty passed away at 37 years old this week, according to the university president.
Sul Ross offensive coordinator Kevin Canty passed away on July 19 after a battle with Covid-19. He was 37.
Canty was an All-American offensive lineman for D-II Wingate College and won 23 games in three years as a letterman with the program. After graduating in 2006, he joined the staff as an assistant coach.
