UNT signee Willie Simmons killed in Austin mass shooting

North Texas linebacker signee Willie Simmons is one of three victims of a mass shooting in Northwest Austin. 

While Austin Police have not confirmed the names of the victims, Elgin ISD confirmed that current student Simmons and former student Alyssa Broderick were among the three victims. The third victim has not been named as yet, but multiple reports claim it was the Alyssa's mother, Amanda Broderick.
