Report: Rice OC Jerry Mack leaving for SEC job
Rice offensive coordinator and associate head coach Jerry Mack will reportedly head to the SEC to take an assistant role.
Rice offensive coordinator Jerry Mack will leave the Owls and join Josh Heupel's staff at Tennessee, according to a report from Yahoo. Mack is expected to serve as running backs coach.
Mack coached quarterbacks and served as associate head coach after joining Mike Bloomgren's initial staff in West University. The Owls are in the midst of building a run-centric offense in the vein of David Shaw's Stanford.
