SMU adds All-Big 12 TE Grant Calcaterra
Former Oklahoma tight end Grant Calcaterra has committed to join the SMU Mustangs for his final year of eligibility.
Former Oklahoma tight end Grant Calcaterra announced on Wednesday that he will play his final year of college football at SMU.
Before retiring due to concussion issues, Calcaterra was a dynamic tight end option for the Sooners. He caught 6 passes for 396 yards and six touchdowns as a sophomore in Lincoln Riley's offense. Calcaterra earned All-Big 12 First Team honors for his performance.
