With back to back state champion Grandview off to Region II, the race in Region III appears to be wide open with as many as eight teams who can make a legitimate claim as the regional favorite. Adding to the intrigue in this region is 12-3A, which has a heavy former Region IV flavor, including last year’s regional champion Columbus.
