Three Texas Quarterbacks Named Elite 11, Maddox Kopp Generates Big Buzz
Three quarterbacks from the Lone Star State were named to the Elite 11 at the national quarterback camp, and a national sleeper emerged from Lone Star State in Maddox Kopp. TexasFootball.com caught up with Sports Illustrated's John Garcia to get the scoop on their performances.

Seven of the 20 quarterbacks competing at the Elite 11 Finals were from the Lone Star State, but three made the cut and were officially selected as the Elite 11: Kyron Drones (Shadow Creek), Garrett Nussmeier (Flower Mound Marcus), Kaidon Salter (Cedar Hill).
There were no seven-on-seven or one-on-one competitions, so the staff used a 50-50 ratio of camp performance and film to select the group.
