Brewer enrolled at Baylor without ever visiting campus or meeting his coach. His first real action came down 38-13, when he nearly pulled off an unthinkable comeback against West Virginia. He helped drag the program from 1-11 to 11-3 in just two years, the quickest turnaround by a power program in college football history.
