Texas Loses Commitment from Atascocita WR/TE Landen King
It seems like it was over before it even started. Just a few weeks after making a non-binding verbal pledge to Texas, Atascocita WR/TE Landen King has announced his intentions to decommit from the Longhorns and reconsider his other offers.
Atascocite WR/TE Landen King (6'5, 210) announced a decommitment from Texas on Friday afternoon. King committed to the Longhorns on April 26, so he was only on the commitment list for just over three weeks.
"I would like to thank Coach Herman and the Texas staff for giving me an amazing opportunity, but I would like to say that I will be de-committing from the University of Texas," King posted on social media.
