Senior Night: Hondo track star Allyson Lutz!

We want to celebrate senior student-athletes across the state of Texas who have had their seasons cut short due to the Coronavirus pandemic! Have a male or female student-athlete you think deserves recognition? Email us at william.wilkerson@texasfootball.com with a bit about what makes them so special, including on-field and classroom accomplishments and pictures!

I would like to nominate my daughter, Allyson Lutz.  Ally is a senior at Hondo High School.  As with all other athletes across the US, her season has been cut short. This would have been her fourth year as a member of the varsity track team.  She competed in triple jump (32’ 2”), 100 meter hurdles (17.4 sec), 300 meter hurdles (51.2), and the 4 x 400 meter relay.  She was just hitting her stride when the rug was pulled out from under her. Thank you for considering Ally.
Sincerely,
Cathy S. Lutz
