All-Texas College Team of the Week: Stars from UNT, A&M, Baylor, Houston and SMU for Week 11
Texas Tech football fielded a pair of big-time performers in the Red Raiders’ win over West Virginia, but Baylor led the way with three honorees on the list of Week 11 standouts during its win over TCU.
QB: Jett Duffey, Texas Tech (Mansfield Lake Ridge)
Duffey keeps getting more comfortable in the Texas Tech offense. The junior threw for 354 yards, an 81-yard touchdown strike to Dalton Rigdon and no interceptions in an evisceration of West Virginia. This is the quarterback play Texas Tech needs to win games.
