Battle of 377: Bragging rights on the line in heated rivalry game between Stephenville and Brownwood
The annual "Battle of 377" between the Stephenville Yellow Jackets and the Brownwood Lions has long been one of the best and most bitter rivalry games in the state. Stephenville won last year, 45-20.
As the annual “Battle of 377” with Stephenville approaches, Brownwood coach Sammy Burnett has a simple plan for the rivalry game.
“We’re going to go over there and try and pick a fight,” Burnett said, speaking figuratively of course. Maybe.
