2019-20 Men's Basketball Small College Preview

If bigger is better, the Lone Star Conference could be the best.

With seven teams from the disbanded Heartland Conference joining the LSC, plus Texas-Tyler beginning its transition from Division III to Division II, the expanded Lone Star Conference now has 18 members in four states, making it the largest NCAA Division II conference in the country. The LSC stretches from Laredo and Kingsville in South Texas, to Fort Smith, Ark., and Oklahoma City to the north, Tyler and Commerce in East Texas, and Silver City, N.M. to the west.
