These five Texas high school football prospects are having big season and are under strong consideration for a rankings bump, including Penn State commit Parker Washington.
OT Andrej Karic - Southlake Carroll
The Texas commit is an offensive lineman with a high upside. Karic is light on his feet, and that allows him to be highly effective getting to the second level to secure blocks. He will be even more effective after he adds the requisite mass in college.
RB Taye McWilliams - Lamar Consolidated
The Baylor commit has a chance to be the Big 12's worst nightmare, a big-bodied back with legit 4.4 40-yard dash speed. He moves well in the open field for a bigger-framed runner making it hard for defenders to get a clean shot on him.
