Week one of the college football season is officially in the books, so we’re going back and evaluating what we learned during a thrilling slate of games.
The state went 8-1 overall (not counting an intrastate matchup between Texas State and Texas A&M early in the week), and the only loss came against playoff contender Oklahoma.
