Houston football moves non-conference matchup with Washington State to NRG Stadium

Houston football announced that its nonconference matchup against Washington State will move from TDECU Stadium on Sept. 14, 2019, to NRG Stadium on Sept. 13, 2019, as part of the Advocare Texas Kickoff in Houston.

While the game will be moved from Houston’s home stadium, the game will still be included in the season ticket package. Additionally, 5,000 student tickets will be provided for free to the game. The university is working out transportation options from campus to NRG Stadium, which is about 15 minutes away from the main campus.
