Report: Houston quarterback D'Eriq King out for season with knee injury
The Cougars are expected to turn to true freshman quarterback Clayton Tune for the final regular season game.

Houston quarterback D’Eriq King will miss the remainder of the 2018 season with a torn meniscus, according to the Houston Chronicle’s Joseph Duarte.
King went out in the second quarter of Houston’s 48-17 win against Tulane after a non-contact knee injury. He gave a handoff to running back Patrick Carr and came up hobbling. King was carted off the sideline and transported to a hospital for additional tests and an MRI.
